The Cathedral Concert Series was inaugurated in the Fall of 1994 by Father Edward Lambro, a priest of the Diocese of Paterson.  The aim of the program is to encourage people of all faiths to visit the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Paterson, New Jersey and enjoy the spiritual benefits of prayer and fine religious music and dance.
 

The annual program consists of performances and services throughout the church's liturgical year. Soloists, choral groups, dancers, actors and orchestras participate in the Series.
 

All performances are provided free of charge as a gift of the Catholics of the Diocese of Paterson to their neighbors. Any free will offering given during the season supports of the Cathedral and its projects.
