Welcome to the Catholic Schools Office Elementary and Secondary School Profiles, which provide specific information about many important facets of our schools. The profiles will provide you with information about the uniqueness of each of our schools, as well as factual information about many aspects of our schools. Here you will find information about student achievement at each of our schools. Our mission is to provide students with a clearly Catholic and high quality education, which focuses on high standards for student learning as well as teaching. These profiles reflect those accomplishments as well as areas that need improvement.
In 2010, the Catholic Schools of the Paterson Diocese began the process of diocesan accreditation through AdvancED. Prior to this, all secondary schools and 98% of elementary schools in the Diocese of Paterson had been involved in the process of accreditation by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. A diocesan system of growth helps to discover our areas of strength and areas of opportunity for growth in a collaborative atmosphere. AdvancED accreditation was awarded to the Catholic Schools of the Paterson Diocese in the spring of 2012.
AdvancED District accreditation is a rigorous process that demonstrates to our students, parents and community that we are focused on raising student achievement, providing safe and enriching learning environments, and maintaining efficient and effective schools staffed by highly qualified educators. The AdvancED District Accreditation provides a national protocol for our Diocese committed to systemic, systematic and sustainable continuous improvement. This protocol empowers our schools to collaborate in reviewing the quality of the Diocese’s systems and their contributions to teaching and learning. This process will support, enhance and stimulate growth and improvement throughout the Diocese.
It is our hope that this site will serve as a valuable resource for parents, educators and the entire community of the Diocese of Paterson interested in school accountability.
