Fire Prevention/Preparation:
The NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) designates a week in the fall as fire prevention week. We need to be proactive to protect our buildings against fire.
The following is a checklist of items to assist you in completing your fire safety preparation.
These items require annual testing and inspection and servicing to ensure that our parishes and agencies are protected.

You should call upon your fire alarm/ fire equipment company to perform these necessary annual tests, inspections and services.

Ansul Kitchen HoodCertified Vendor Report from inspecting contractor Emergency Light Certified Vendor or Parish/Agency Maintenance Staff Report documenting all lighting and batteries are properly functioning Egress/Exit Passages Parish/Agency Maintenance Staff All employees are responsible for making sure that all egress paths are free and clear and that no items are stored in these corridors and lobbies Egress/Exit Doors Parish/Agency Maintenance Staff Make sure that all emergency exit doors have properly functioning panic hardware
