Father David Monteleone installed as pastor of St. Philip the Apostle Parish in Clifton

CLIFTON  Father David Monteleone was installed as pastor of St. Philip the Apostle Church here by Bishop Kevin J. Sweeney on Sept. 26 at Mass marking the 26th Sunday in Ordinary Time.

Father Monteleone was ordained to the priesthood on May 25, 2013, and his first assignment was at St. Joseph Parish, Mendham, as parochial vicar. He served as administrator of Holy Spirit Parish in Pequannock, and later was named its pastor. In June, Bishop Sweeney appointed him pastor of St. Philip’s.
