Bishop meets with young people preparing for Sacrament of Confirmation

SPARTA  Bishop Serratelli met with young people from around the diocese preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation at Pope John XXIII Regional High School here Oct. 11. This was the second meeting the Bishop has had with youth, mostly freshmen and sophomores in high school, who will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation next year. He previously met with confirmandi at DePaul Catholic High School in Wayne last month. He will again meet with young people preparing for Confirmation at 2:30 p.m., Sunday. Oct. 25 at Morris Catholic High School in Denville.

The day was coordinated by the Diocesan Office of Evangelization at St. Paul’s Inside the Walls, which included catechesis by the Bishop, a question and answer session, and Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament with time for paye
