Father Stan was born in Paterson, NJ. He attended St. Brendan grade school in Clifton and Pope Pius XII High School in Passaic. Father attended Wadhams Hall College in Ogdensburg, NY and Loyola University where he completed his Masters in Guidance Counseling. Later, he attended St Mary?s Seminary and University in Baltimore and completed his Master?s degree in Sacred Theology. Father also attended Seton Hall University where he completed an Education Specialist degree in Administration and Supervision.
Father was ordained on 5/4/74 by Bishop Casey and his first assignment was at Bayley Ellard High School, Madison, NJ where he was a guidance counselor and taught Theology. Later he was named Vice Principal of Pope Pius XII and then Principal of Bayley Ellard. A one year sabbatical followed where Father continued studying Theology. Father has served as Vocation Director for our diocese and Director to Ministry to Priests. Before coming to St. Elizabeth?s in 2005, Father was the Pastor of St. Thomas, Ogendensburg, NJ. Besides serving as our pastor, Father is the Vicar for Education and Chair of the Priestly Life Committee and is a member of the Mt. Olive Clergy Association.
Father Stan?s dad lives nearby in Merry Heart, his mom passed away in 2000. His brother, Thomas, lives with his wife Robyn in South Carolina. His niece Amanda, lives in Clifton. Father has a passion for music, traveling and Volkswagons!
