Every human person is created out of the love by God, made in His Image and Likeness, and is destined to live forever. Out of awareness of the profound reverence due to every person and a great desire to draw each one closer to Christ, we provide support to build and promote a culture of life and advocate for the most vulnerable.
The United States Catholic Conference of Bishops has suggested a need for a program “Walking with Moms in Need.”
Successful in helping women make the decision to keep their unborn child, those deeply committed to the pro-life culture must also assist in the on-going need to care for women and the children they have brought into the world. We help to change minds when we change hearts by accompanying those who need assistance pre-birth, through birth, and following.
To this end, we have compiled the attached Directory for Services – Walking with Moms in Need. Parishes, organizations and communities in our Diocese will now be able to use these resources when a mom comes seeking help and assistance. Should each parish wish to set up a committee to help in this program that would be commendable.
Services are for pregnant women and for women in need after the birth of their child.
